Frilly and Funkie - Pastels and Pearls

Hello Everyone!

It's time for another challenge over at Frilly and Funkie. Nancy is our hostess this time around and she has chosen the theme "Pastels and Pearls". Create a vintage or shabby chic project that features a pastel colour palette and includes pearls. One lucky winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to Linda's shop The Funkie Junkie Boutique!

UPDATE:
My card won an award in the following wonderful challenges:

All of the following products that I used can be purchased at The Funkie Junkie Boutique.

***
Last week I showed you the day photos of our trip to the Harbour. These are the shots I took of the sunset and after the sun went down.

I decided to try some artsy shots for the after dark photos. Something different and more interesting than just straight shots in the dark! I call these 'Glamour Shots'. It was pitch black out when I took these, so I'm very happy with the details I captured.

And back on the home front, a brand new toy to play with!! This is called the Phantom 3 and it's a remote control aerial drone equipped with live video streaming right to the phone!!

Here are a couple snaps of the lake from way way above! So Cool!! I live just on the right hand side of that strange building with the triangle shape, behind the small collection of trees.

Simply can't wrap it up without some baby squirrels and birds, so here we go.

Oh good grief, would you look at this baby squirrel!!

I took a whole series of photos of this fellow with his two siblings and him Mom. A large family for squirrels, as they usually only birth one at  a time, sometimes two, rarely three. They played and talked and ran, oh what fun!

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

A classic Pamellia card full of frills and sheer loveliness.

  50. Wow! Your new tool is fantastic, Pamellia, and perfect for a photography bug! It will be fun seeing the shots you capture with it.

doesn't it just seem miraculous the way those vivid colors light up the sky as the sun has completely set! I took some of our sunset but the sun was still up. It was 8:30PM, and all the clouds in the EAST were radiating and reflecting the golden hues of the setting sun. In the West, things were slightly grayish-orange because of the humidity and rain - but the East decided to be just as dazzling as the west on this day - I always enjoy Florida's skies - no matter what time of year, time of day, or weather - it's always fascinating to me!

Your lovely wildlife captured so beautifully. I suppose I should say something about your incredibly feminine card! LOL I like the painted black chipboard to provide a little outline of the dainty details, and the sweetness of "cherish" in your creation. Anyone receiving this Beauty will feel cherished for sure! I hope you enjoy a lovely week-end, my friend!

    hugs,
